TL;DR: Obsoloom, the website and the app, does not collect anything about you.
The app
Obsoloom makes no internet connections. Your recordings, settings and logs stay on your computer, in folders you control. There's no account, no upload, no analytics, no telemetry and no crash reporting.
The phone camera link runs down your USB cable, between your phone and your computer. The Obsoloom Camera app on the phone doesn't have permission to use the internet at all.
If you use Windows' own Connected Camera over Wi-Fi instead, that connection is run by Windows and Microsoft, not by Obsoloom, and their privacy terms apply to it.
This website
This site uses Fathom Analytics to count visits. Fathom uses no cookies, collects no personal information and doesn't follow you around the web. It shows me totals, such as how many people visited, which pages they read, which site sent them and roughly which country they came from, and never who you are.

No ads, no other trackers and no third-party fonts. The only thing this site stores is your light or dark mode choice, kept in your own browser. It never leaves your device.
The company that hosts the site may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser and the page requested, for security and to keep the site running. I don't use them to identify you.
If you email [email protected], I get your address and whatever you write. I use it only to reply. I don't sell it, share it or add you to a mailing list.
